Brewing Tips from Our Baristas

Water Temperature

For most brewing methods, water should be between 195°F and 205°F (90°C-96°C). Too hot and you'll burn the coffee; too cool and you'll under-extract.

Grind Size Matters

Match your grind size to your brewing method: fine for espresso, medium for drip, and coarse for French press. Consistency is key!

Coffee-to-Water Ratio

Start with a 1:16 ratio (1g coffee to 16g water) and adjust to your taste. Measuring by weight rather than volume gives more consistent results.

Fresh is Best

Coffee is at its peak flavor within 2-3 weeks of roasting. Store beans in an airtight container away from light, heat, and moisture.
